Policies and Procedures
Under current guidelines, and because we are "free-range" groomers, all dogs must be current on Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough). All cats, while not free-range, must be current on RABIES vaccine. There will be no exceptions to this policy, unless we receive a letter from your veterinarian explaining the exemption to certain vaccinations.
We will be available for scheduling immediately by email at info@callingallpawsgrooming.com. We will be taking phone appointments from Tuesday through Saturday; however, there is no messaging available.
Calling All Paws books appointments in three shifts: 7:30 a.m. (grooms), 10:00 a.m. (grooms) and 12:00 (baths, only). Pets dropped off at 7:30 are expected to be completed anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; pets dropped off at 10:00 a.m. to be completed anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Noon bath dogs can be expected to be completed between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. We do our best to complete all grooms in a timely fashion, however, it is dependent upon several factors, i.e., timely drop off, temperament of pet, condition of coat, style of groom and finally, size.
In order to accommodate all our scheduled pet clients, we cannot accept pets after their designated drop off time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment, so that we may stay on schedule with our other pet clients.
We will call as soon as your pet is finished. Because Calling All Paws is kennel free and we have limited space, we ask that pets be picked up within one hour of the call. If a pet is not picked up within one hour, an additional fee of $15/half-hour will be applied to the cost of the pet's groom.
Calling All Paws will email a confirmation of your scheduled appointment, and email a 2-day reminder before your scheduled visit. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so within 24 hours of your scheduled visit, to avoid a fee of $50.00 being applied to your pet's next grooming visit.
All dogs must be leased or in a carrier upon arrival. Even if your dog listens well off-leash, Darby Road can be busy at times and we don't want to see an accident happen. Also, there may be another dog inside when you enter and even though your dog may love everyone, the dog inside might not. We recommend not using a retractable leash but if that is all you have, we ask that you keep it locked in short length.
Please make sure your dog has been let out or walked and has taken care of their business before entering the Salon. Too often pets relieve themselves after arriving and staff has to stop to clean up and disinfect the area. As pet parents, we are sure you are aware of the health hazards this can present to us and the other pets.
